Age Eligibility Change
Minnesota Softball is the statewide governing body of amateur softball in Minnesota and an affiliate of USA Softball.
USA Softball has changed the Age Eligibility cut off from December 31st to August 31st. What that means for this coming Fall Ball season and ongoing seasons:
This means if your child has a September, October, November, December birthdate, they get an extra year at their current age level.
If you would like clarification on what level your player should register to play at, please use this link provided by MN Softball, https://mnsoftball.com/pages/cms/age-calculator.
The MVSA Board of Directors meets on a monthly basis (as needed during softball season). August - April meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month at the Shoreview Community Center at 6:30 pm.
All board meetings are open to all MVSA members and attendance is both welcomed and encouraged. Please consider getting involved!
