Parents, the best way to help your young athlete get better is to practice with them.  Play catch, throw ground balls or pop ups to them, throw them batting practice at a park.  Especially if your daughter wants to be a pitcher.  It takes a lot of repetition and practice to build confidence.  Going to practice once or twice a week won't do it.  You will know when your daughter is ready additional/higher level training.

MVSA will continue to offer various training opportunities throughout the year.   Look back to this page often or just ask and we can refer you to a specific trainer.

This has been an MVSA tradition for 10 years now and it is offered to our members to say "thank you" for your years of dedication. Join us from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon and use the batting cages for free. There is also some room to throw the ball around or practice some pitching.

There were over 50 players that participated on Martin Luther King day. I hope to see more on Presidents Day!

      ** Wednesday's in Feb 2012  1,8,15,22,29

       *  10/12U     6:00 - 7:00PM

       *   14/16        7:00 - 8:00PM

  Cost for the six sessions is $90.00, however the MVSA is going to pay $30.00 of the $90.00 cost. Your daughter will receive six hitting clinics for a total cost of $60.00 per girl.

the sessions will fill up fast we have a maximum per group of 14 girls.

your $60.00 check can be payable to minnesotafastpitch academy, also go to their website , click on the register now tab and print off the waiver form sign and bring the first night. Please Arrive 10 minutes prior to start time.

MVSA Fastpitch in partnership with minnesota fastpitch academy will be holding hitting and fielding clinics starting Jan 2012 and will run till the end of Feb 2012 .This will be an eight week clinic. PLEASE visit the MVSA web site after 12-1-2011 for updates and registration information.

MVSA will be offering open gym times on TUE/THUR AT Pikelake,Chippewa and Sunnyside. open gym time will start 1-5-2012 times will be posted on the web site after 12-1-2011.
